What a great time I had spending time in West Virginia where I was born with wonderful family ! I stayed in my grandmothers house that my cousin now owns on a one lane road surrounded by mountains and mist...was there a month and it just seemed like it was not enough time.I took many pictures of the cousins/family quilts, cousins canning, mountains with mist and more.

Basil,Thyme,Sage,Rosemary Simmer ! I love to simmer this combination ! It just does the head and body good. It opens my head and clears my mind and makes me feel good ! I like using this in the cold months of the year or when I am down sick with cold or flu. I prefer to use fresh but if I can't get fresh I use dried. You can adjust the amounts to suit youself.

Choose what ever size pan you like and fill about 3/4 of the way with water .Chop up fresh ingredients and put in pan of water or sprinkle 1/4 to a teaspoon of each dried ingredients in water , heat and then turn down to a simmer and enjoy !

Hope everyone is having a GREAT day ! Remember you have the choice to make it a great day ! Don't dwell on the bad things....somethings not right do ...what you can to make it better   smile and make it a great day !

Basil And Rosemary
I love simmering fresh Basil and
Rosemary leaves... It opens my head & eyes and makes me feel good instantly .
I am going to use it for the cold and flu season. All I do is chop up some basil and rosemary and fill the pan with water-bring to a boil-then turn down the heat and simmer. There are many plants-herbs you can do this with or you can use essential oils...use them to make you feel good or scent your house ! Sometimes I grate the citrus peels, orange, lemon, grapefruit etc...and put them in with it and then I just cut up or squeeze the juice from the fruit into the pan also...a little natural home scent.
