I am the kind of writer that has too write when the thought occurs.If I am in the middle of driving down the road,laying in bed or working...I have to start writing while the thought is there so that I don't loose any of that thought.

Hand to Hand

We both Must Learn

To Control Our Demands

Our Needs For Each Other

Will Surely Increase

But A Gentle Hug And Kiss

Will Bring Us Peace

And When You First Fall

And Scrape Your Knee

Please Come And Comfort Me

I know As We grow older

We Will Need Time And Space

But We Must Never Forget

Mother's Remembrance

As I sat in silence,
And watched you both enjoy,
All the precious moments shared,
Between a man and his boy,
I saw the love given ,
And I saw the love received.
I saw you each fulfill,
Each others need.
I hold those moments precious too.
It's through those moments,
I came to know,
How the love of a man,
And his son,
Can grow.

This Sunlit Morn

AS I SIT HERE ON THIS SUNLIT MORN
the chipmonks chip as little baby
geese are born
the beatiuful sun rises over the misty
covered fields
that every year gives a hearty yield
of wonderous blossoms that fill our days
with natures bounty lying under our
blue sunlit sky
with streams that trickle ever so gently
by
just kissing natures bounty on its merry
way
saying c'mon and grow tomorrow s on its
way
as i sit here on this sunlit morn

At times I sit and think

What can I leave when I go

I can leave my poems

Snowflakes

The sparkle and the glisten
Will blind you day or night
They're all so very different
With no errors in sight
Covering earths messes
Creating many stresses
That leaves us with lots of highway messes
And one does wonder why
These things should fall from the sky
But just as we are human
We are all different
We have our beauty and our ugliness
And are not always what we seem
And if we look close enough
We may find the beauty in an ugliness
That we would only create in a dream
So when you see the snowflakes fall
Look closely at each individual one and see
They're as much alike and different
With beauty,like you and me

Tears

Inside these shower walls,the water trickles
And on my body falls
And brings the tears i've held inside
It's then I cry and cry
Releasing all the pain inside
Letting the showers mist wash away my tears
Then no one ever knows how I cried
Or about the pain deep inside
The water droplets,mask my tears
And at this time no one knows
The tears that build and rapidly flow
Down my body but never show
They're hidden by the waters flow
It's only the deep and sobbing cry
That could tell others of the pain inside
Because inside these shower walls
The water droplets hide the tears that fall

True Love

True love is a gift from God,
Sent from him above.
He gently places his two hands,
On two deserving hearts.
And blesses them with all his love,
And thats how true love starts.
He gives them first,true friendship,
Then he entwines it with caring love.
He then ties their hearts together,
With loyalty,
And the peace of a soaring dove.
And from that day forward,
The two hearts that were blessed,
Already know how to nuture,
And care for the love,
That God has let them come to know.
Because he first gave them the experience,
To help their true love grow.
And those two hearts now share,
Loves warm,happy glow.

As I walked out the door
When I thought you weren't there anymore
I looked in the sky
And saw the blue in your eyes
As I took a deep breath, of the nights air
I caught the scent of your hair
And I thought I didn't care
But you were there
And when I looked at the tree

To be your only man
I never knew the day would come

More Than A Friend

I have a friend,
And friends we've been,since who knows when
Spend time together most everyday
Make each other laugh and smile for awhile
And then merrily go on our way
We share our joys and troubles
And help each other work things out
Partners in crime,silly lots of the time
We go out to to have a lot of fun
Listening and dancing to the oldies bands
Never leaving until the band is done
We finish each others sentences
And then look at each other and laugh
And now my friend rests in gods hands
And has found peace and suffers no more
My friend is not gone
Because we were more than friends
We were a part of each other
And we will be together everyday
Laughing and listening in our silly way

It Took A Tragedy

It took a tragedy
To touch the heart and soul of man
Not just in America
But across the worlds vast land
With all the countries taking a stand
Hearts together,hand in hand
We stand together as a world
Not an individual land
It took a tragedy
For all to see
Just how precious "OUR" life is
And how strong "WE" can be
When the world stands together
For once the world is "ONE"
And "OUR" voices
Speak the word "WE"
The terriorist gave us "OUR" first victory

Just Then

My heart was broken
I couldn't pick-up the pieces.
Life seemed as though it fell apart.

Because I had a broken heart.
I felt like life had ended.
And I thought I couldn't go on.
And just then I cryed for an angel!
And just then I met you !
And just then my life changed.
The sunshine poured down through,
Those dark clouds I looked up at,
And asked for an angel.
Just then the angel was you.

The One To Steal My Heart

Those eyes so blue,
And your bubbly coo.
Brings my arms to cuddle you.
Your silky baby skin,
And just look at that double chin !
Such tiny toes and a perfect nose.
My love for you must surely show.
Who ever thought,
Right from the start,
That you would be the one,
To steal my heart.

Orders To Leave

He grabbed his coat,he grabbed his hat

He had to leave in seconds flat

He didn’t have the choice to say no

He had his orders to leave

He had to go

She smiled at him,held back the tears

She hid all of her worst fears

They held each other tight

Hugged each other with all their might

She said to him,don’t worry dear

I won’t cry,I won’t shed a tear

And just for you

I’ll be waiting right here

Their hearts were pounding

As they walked towards the door

Afraid they wouldn’t see each anymore

He put his hand under her chin

He gave her his famous grin

She smiled back and kissed his cheek

She didn’t want to look weak

She loved him so

She knew he didn’t have the choice to say no

He stroked her hair and kissed her cheek

His heart was heavy and his knees were weak

They both said I love you dear

Neither one could hardly speak

Trying to fight back the tears

She watched him drive down the road

Both hearts carried a heavy load

Soon his letters started arriving home

But they both still felt so all alone

She answered every one

She’d keep him strong and get him home

She dropped to her knees and to God she prayed

God keep him safe by night and day

Please God light the way

Eight months had gone by

And she couldn’t hold back the tears anymore

Just as she started to cry

She heard a noise and a loving sigh

Her husband came thru the door

Picked her up off her knees from the floor

Said honey you don’t have to worry anymore

I’m home ,it’s the end of the war

They held each other tight as they fell to the floor

And prayed to god once more

There hearts were pounding as they walked towards the door

I'm afraid that if you look,
Deep into my my eyes,
That you will see.
A love that will last an eternity.
Two open arms to hold you tight.
To stop the tears that fall,
Deep in the dark of night.
Two open hands,to hold in yours.
To walk together,
Through lifes endless doors.
My heart thats warm and caring,
Endless love and constant sharing.
To carry you through eternity.
A life shared by you and by me.

How To Appreciate Life

Hold your baby as it sleeps

Babies face against your cheek

Close your eyes

Think only of the babies breathing

Feel the warm breath

Feel the soft tender skin

Feel the innocent heart within

Hold your baby wide awake

Listen to the sounds baby makes

Look at those eyes

Look at that grin

Hear that giggle

Listen to the innocent heart within

Hold your baby while it cries

Watch the tears roll from the eyes

Listen to the babies cry

Feel it deep inside

Kiss the tears

Falling on the face

Give baby a warm wonderful embrace

Look at baby with your eyes closed

And your mind wide open

Do the same with others

Find what is inside

Because it is then

You will discover the best in life

Dear Lord

Dedicated to the poor and homeless,with all the love in my heart.

Blood curdling cries,
Heart breaking tears,roll down a face,
Sad so many years.
No money in the pocket,
No food to eat.
The babies cries just make me weak.
No bed to sleep in,
No blanket to keep warm.
The hunger for life,
Is what keeps us strong.
We wrap up in each others bodies at night,
To keep each other warm.
And hopefully awake,
To a brighter morning light.
Dear lord,we have a simple prayer,
Please take us under your wing,
To show you care.
Food,a room,a bed,and a blanket to share.
Thank you lord ,
We always knew you were there.

When my eyes are sad and start to tear,
Place a kiss on my cheek to show you're near.
When I think all is impossible to bare,
Place your hand in mine to show you care.
When troubles are many and life seems unfair,
Smile and say your troubles I'll share.
But most of all when I need a friend,

Deep In The Dark Of Night

In the moments when we are near
Your warm breath
Blows gently across my face
Making eager loves warm embrace
As your smooth skin
Gently passes across mine
The smell of each others scent
Bringing precious moments in time
Bringing emotions high
The sweat on your brow
From heightened desire
Drips upon mine
Fingers wrapped between each others
Grasping ever so tight

A Seed

We planted a seed
It started to grow
None to small in size
A great big ball
Right under my nose
Oh dear ! what happen?
I can't see my toes
I went to the doctor
The doctor replied
Don't worry my dear
It will soon disapear
With a beautiful package inside
We waited and worried
And eventually scurried
To the hospitals
Maternity floor
And much to our surprise
We produced,a nine pound-five
Brown eyed baby boy
Thats quite a bundle of joy!

A heart is something special
To be used everyday
And if you use it right
You will never go astray
A heart can be a room
To store your special thoughts
A heart can be a door
That swings both ways
To let you in and out
On not so happy days
The heart can be a treasure chest
